My University

The University of Glasgow was founded in 1451, in Glasgow, Scotland. It is a renowned centre for teaching and research, being one of the ancient universities of Scotland, the second oldest university and the fourth oldest in the English-speaking world.

With almost 16,000 undergraduate and 4,000 postgraduate students, it is one of the country's largest universities. Employing 5,700 staff, it is a major employer in the city and, with an annual turnover of £285 Million, it makes a substantial contribution to the local economy.
